がじょうず (ga jouzu) means “to be good at something”

Placing のがじょうず (no ga jouzu) after a verb is a way to express that someone is good at something.  のがじょうず (no ga jouzu) is specific to skills, which can be anything from speaking Japanese to singing like Celine Dion (please don’t). We can also place がじょうず after a noun in which case (no) is not needed..

Form
verb (dictionary form) + のがじょうず (no ga jouzu)
noun + がじょうずです (ga jouzu desu)

For example,

アントさんは数学すうがく上手じょうずです

Anto-san wa suugaku ga jouzu desu.

Anto is good at math.

Anto-san wa suugaku ga jouzu desu.
Note: じょうず (jouzu) is commonly written in Hiragana as much as the kanji form, 上手.  It’s okay if you choose either!
